INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating a deadly crash on Indianapolis' northeast side early Friday.
The crash was reported shortly before 5:15 a.m. March 22 at the intersection of North Emerson Avenue and East 46th Street.
According to a preliminary investigation, police said a man driving a truck eastbound on East 46th Street was speeding when the truck hit a car that was going southbound on North Emerson Avenue.
Police confirmed the man driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim was identified as 56-year-old Kevin Little.
Medics took the man driving the truck to a hospital with "critical, non-life-threatening injuries," according to police.
IMPD said the intersection was shut down during the investigation. Accident investigators responded to the scene to begin looking into the cause of the crash.
