INDIANAPOLIS — A person is in critical condition after a hit-and-run on Indy's near northwest side Sunday morning.
Just before 8 a.m. Nov. 17, IMPD said officers responded to a report of a personal injury accident at the intersection of West Kessler Boulevard North Drive and Lafayette Road.
When officers arrived, they said they found a person with trauma injuries. Medics responded to the scene and took the victim to a local hospital. The victim is currently listed in critical condition.
The vehicle that struck the pedestrian did not stay on the scene, police said.
IMPD-certified accident investigators are responding to the scene.
