INDIANAPOLIS — One person has died after being struck by a vehicle Saturday evening, according to police.
Shortly before 8 p.m. on Oct. 14, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police (IMPD) responded to a report of a personal injury crash in the 2000 block of Lafayette Road on Indianapolis' west side, near the White River.
Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services (IEMS) arrived on scene and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Roughly 20 hours later, IMPD released a statement in which they confirmed the victim was an adult male.
IMPD certified accident investigators are currently conducting their investigation. No further information was provided.
