INDIANAPOLIS — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on the west side of Indianapolis late Thursday.
The crash happened shortly after 11 p.m. Oct. 19 in the 8000 block of Rockville Road, near Country Club Road. According to an IMPD spokesperson, medics pronounced a man dead at the scene.
On Oct. 20, the Marion County Coroner's Office identified the man as 37-year-old Darin Nihle Dawson.
Police said the driver of the vehicle that hit the man remained at the scene until officers and medics arrived.
