INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a crash involving a pedestrian on the city's far west side Saturday night.
Around 9 p.m. April 20, officers were called to the 8600 block of West Morris Street, near Bridgeport Road, on a report of pedestrian struck.
Officers arrived and found a man with significant injuries who was transported to a local hospital in "very critical condition," according to IMPD.
Police believe the man was walking along the side of the street when he was struck by a vehicle going eastbound.
IMPD said the driver of the vehicle stayed on scene after the crash.
