INDIANAPOLIS — A pedestrian is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle on the southwest side of Indianapolis late Tuesday afternoon.
IMPD officers responded to a report of a crash in the 5200 block of Bluff Road, near Thompson Road, around 5 p.m. Jan. 16. The officers located the pedestrian, who had been struck by a vehicle.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene, IMPD said.
Investigators believe the vehicle was traveling north on Bluff Road when it struck the pedestrian, who was walking east at the time.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
