INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after a pedestrian was critically injured in a crash on Indianapolis' east side Wednesday morning.
The crash was reported around 5:45 a.m. Oct. 30 in the 1200 block of South Arlington Avenue, south of Brookville Road.
An IMPD spokesperson said responding officers located a pedestrian who was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.
"The driver of the striking vehicle remained on scene and is being cooperative with the investigation," the spokesperson said.
Both directions of Arlington Avenue were blocked south of Brookville Road as of 7 a.m. Wednesday.
