CONNERSVILLE, Ind. (WTHR) — The mystery has been solved.
We told you a couple of weeks ago about a woman in Connersville who hoped to find the owner of photos she found at Goodwill.
Lorie Voltz thought she was purchasing an interesting wooden box at the Shelbyville store.
"I just really liked it," she said. "It looks raw. I bought it for the box. It was 5 bucks."
When she got it outside and looked at the box closer, she found more than two dozen photos.
Voltz, a photographer, said the pictures were very well done, scenes of landmarks, people and pets. Even a school dance.
The only clue inside was a name, Kayla Shipley.
After an active search that included social media messaging. Voltz says Makayla Shipley, the owner of the pictures, saw our story and contacted her. They were able to link up on Friday afternoon.
