CAMBY, Ind. (WTHR) - Four departments were called out early Thursday on a house fire on Morgan Street in Camby.
A passerby called about the fire around 1220 a.m. and crews found smoke and fire coming from the house.
They had the fire under control in about 20 minutes, according to Decatur Township firefighters.
Neighbors advised firefighters that the people who live there may be inside. But it was later determined they were not home and nobody was hurt.
The house has some historic significance as it was the first built on Morgan Street in the 1930s.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
