FISHERS, Ind. — A fatal traffic accident involving a motorcycle closed all lanes of a busy highway late Friday.
The crash happened around 11 p.m. Oct. 13 on Interstate 69, near 96th Street.
Fishers police said the driver of the motorcycle, which was the only vehicle involved, was ejected and died from his injuries. Police are still trying to determine what led up to the crash.
The Hamilton County Coroner's Office, along with the Fishers Police Department Forensic Services Unit, identified the victim as 61-year-old Ronald Baxter, of Fort Wayne.
All lanes were reopened just before 5 a.m., according to INDOT.
