INDIANAPOLIS — Nordstrom is hosting a local hiring event to prepare for the grand opening of its new location in central Indiana.
The fashion retailer will be opening a Nordstrom Rack store in Noblesville this fall. The 25,000-square-foot store will be located in the Hamilton Town Center.
The hiring event will be on Saturday, Aug. 31 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Wyndham Hotel Noblesville, located at 13500 Tegler Drive.
Parking is free. Interviewees can proceed to the Conner Room Hall where the interviews will take place.
Nordstrom Rack is looking to fill a variety of positions in sales, cashier and stock departments. The pay would range from $15.45-$16.05 an hour, in addition to an employee discount.
Officials said attendees should bring a resume and be prepared for immediate interviews.
The store will be the third Nordstrom location in central Indiana, joining the Nordstrom Rack store on East 82nd Street and the Nordstrom store in the Fashion Mall at Keystone. A Nordstrom store at Circle Centre Mall closed in 2011.
