No injuries after truck crashes into Carmel home

WESTFIELD, Ind. — A Westfield residence had an unwelcome visitor on Sunday after a pickup truck crashed into one of its walls.

According to a social media post from the Westfield Fire Department, WFD was called to help the Carmel Fire Department after a truck crashed into the side of a house. 

Westfield Fire Department's structural collapse team arrived and built two structural support columns to help shore up the building and stabilize any compromised structures, allowing the homeowner to remain safely inside. 

WFD says no one was injured as a result of the crash.
