Indianapolis - A new grocery store will open in one year at the site of the old Altas Supermarket at 54th and College.
Our partners at the Indianapolis Star report that a 21,000-square-foot Fresh Market will open there in November 2007.
Kite Reality, which owns the property, tells the Star it is filing permits to redevelop the site. Atlas Supermarket closed four and a half years ago.
Marsh Supermarkets bought the property from the original owners of Atlas last year, but financial problems forced them to sell to Kite.
