INDIANAPOLIS — An investigation is underway after a fire caused heavy damage to an abandoned church on Indianapolis' near west side Saturday morning.
The fire was reported shortly after 7:00 a.m. Oct. 12 in the 700 block of King Avenue, near West Walnut Street and North Holmes Avenue.
At least five trucks were on scene trying to fight the fire.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
