CARROLL COUNTY, Ind. — A Monticello man is dead after family members found his body in the Tippecanoe River Monday morning.
Indiana Conservation Officers said Evan Wood, 23, was found in the river near the 6400 block of North County Road 1225 West in Carroll County.
Police said that Wood was discovered missing from his home early Monday morning, and family and friends were actively searching the area when his body was found. Investigators are investigating Wood's whereabouts after 10 p.m. on Sunday, when he was last seen.
