This is a timeline of events starting when Indiana University student Lauren Spierer was last seen early in the morning of Friday June 3rd.
Beginning that weekend, volunteer search parties are formed to find the missing 20-year-old sophomore.
June 6 Her parents Robert and Charlene, speak to the media for the first time, pleading for help in finding her daughter.
June 7 Police release specific details of what happened in the hours leading to Lauren's disappearance, that she spent time in a Bloomington bar, walked back to her apartment, then to a friend's apartment. Her friends report she was last seen leaving that apartment to walk home.
That night, police use a battering ram to burst into a room in the lobby of her apartment building to get surveillance video.
June 8 Police acting on a tip search Lake Monroe. They do not find anything.
June 9 Police reveal at least ten persons of interest, including Corey Rossman. His attorney says his client is cooperating.
Announcement of a reward of $100,000 for information that leads to Lauren.
June 10 Person of interest Corey Rossman gives DNA sample to police. Detectives confirm Lauren's boyfriend Jesse Wolff is also among the ten persons of interest.
June 14 Police release pictures of a truck caught on surveillance camera in the area where she disappeared, and a picture of Lauren leaving her apartment that night. The owner of the truck, one of the first and only leads revealed in the case, would come forward a couple days later and be cleared.
June 15 Volunteer search efforts continue to mount. Hundreds of people turn out to look for any sign of Lauren in and around Bloomington.
June 16 Police release a specific timeline of times and places Lauren was seen the night before she disappeared. Her parents talk exclusively with Eyewitness news.
June 17 Robert Spierer breaks down during the news conference, when he speaks about Father's Day.
June 19 Police search a rural area in Morgan County after reports of a suspicious odor. Nothing is found.
June 22 Charlene Spierer says she's disappointed only one of Lauren's friends has come forward on their own to police. Parents start PO box for tips.
June 25 "Find Lauren" day in Bloomington. Hundreds of volunteers take part in massive search effort.
June 27 Person of interest Jason Rosenbaum's attorneys say he is cooperating with police and passed a polygraph.
June 28 Police say they are scaling back searches, shifting focus from daily foot searches to following leads as they get them.
June 29 The command center on campus for volunteers closes, as daily volunteer searches end.
Police search the townhouse she was last seen leaving.
June 30 Parents attend public prayer service held at Bloomington church.
July 1 Parents call news conference, say they plan to stay in Bloomington, and appeal once again for anyone with information to come forward.
