Bloomington - Police hope national exposure generates new leads in the disappearance of I-U student Lauren Spierer.
Her case was highlighted Saturday night on the crime T-V show America's Most Wanted.
And now a specialized search team Is on the case too.
It has been 9 days since 20-year-old Lauren Spierer was last seen. Since then has been a vigorous Twitter campaign,almost 40 thousand people following on Facebook and a new website started by her parents to help keep interest up and volunteers moving.
The volunteers will be joined by a professional search group from Texas, Equusearch. They have assisted in more than 12--hundred searches..
"We certainly don't have any promises except that we will bring in the best stuff that we feel will be an asset to the search efforts," said Equusearch founder Tim Miller.
Equusearch is expected to start work Monday morning..
