INDIANAPOLIS — Grocery store chain Meijer has announced it's mandating masks in its stores.
Meijer made the announcement on Facebook Friday morning.
"Beginning Monday, July 20, 2020, all Meijer customers must wear a face covering or face mask when shopping at any Meijer store or Meijer Express station throughout our six-state footprint, unless customers have medical conditions that prevent them from wearing face coverings. We encourage customers to consider using Meijer Home Delivery or Curbside pick-up as alternative options for their shopping needs."
Meijer joins a list of other retailers and grocery store chains that have mandated masks included Target, Kohl's, Kroger and Walmart.
