There will be a prayer vigil and a new plea for answers in a deadly hit-and-run crash in Lawrence that happened five months ago.
Jonathan Macklin, 25, was killed May 10 when an SUV collided with his motorcycle and took off.
Lawrence Police are asking anyone with information about the crash to come forward. Authorities said the suspect's vehicle is an early 2000 model Chevy Suburban with damage to the driver's side tail-light.
The prayer vigil will be Saturday morning at 11 a.m. at the site of the accident: the 8100 block of Pendleton Pike near McCoy Street. His family will meet with detectives right before the vigil.
EDITOR'S NOTE: This story originally reported the vigil would be held at the Lawrence Police Department. Organizers later moved the location to the site of the accident because of the route a marathon will take through Lawrence Saturday morning.
