A Marion County Sheriff's deputy was fired Wednesday after his arrest on drug charges.
Jed Adams, a seven-year veteran of the department, was arrested in Plainfield on charges of possession of marijuana, cocaine and methamphetamine, as well as official misconduct.
Adams had been serving as a K-9 handler in the Marion County Sheriff's Office's Criminal Division.
