INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating a crash that seriously injured a man on Indianapolis' north side early Tuesday afternoon.
First responders were called to the crash around 12:15 p.m. Dec. 5 in the area of North Michigan and Cold Spring roads, north of the White River.
According to the Indianapolis Fire Department, IFD and Pike Township Fire Department crews worked to free a 19-year-old man from a flipped car for around 15 minutes.
Witnesses told first responders the driver was traveling at a high speed when his car went over a hill too fast and lost control on slick roads, IFD said.
The man was taken to Methodist Hospital, and a public police report indicated he suffered serious injuries. Additional information on the man's condition has not been released.
IMPD is continuing to investigate the crash.
