BOONE COUNTY, Ind. — Boone County authorities are investigating after a man was seriously injured in a four-car crash on Interstate 865 Thursday afternoon.
The crash was reported around 4:30 p.m. Nov. 14 along westbound I-865 near I-65.
One of the drivers, an Indianapolis man, was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, while the other three drivers refused medical treatment at the scene, the Boone County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.
The sheriff's office's fatal alcohol crash team responded to the scene due to the severity of the man's injuries. That group's investigation is ongoing.
