MUNCIE, Ind. (WTHR) - One man is dead after a train collided with a pickup truck on Muncie's southwest side Monday morning.
According to emergency dispatch, the train struck the pickup at the crossing on Batavia Avenue just south of Kilgore Avenue.
The crash happened just before 8:00 a.m.
Delaware County Coroner Rick Howell confirmed that the man in the pickup was killed. Howell said the man was alone in the truck.
The Coroner identified the victim as 34-year-old Graham Highley of Yorktown.
