INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after a 21-year-old man was killed in a shooting on the west side of Indianapolis early Saturday.
Just after 1 a.m. June 8, officers responded to the 3800 block of West Michigan Street, near Holt Road, at the Maple Creek Apartments.
On the scene, police found a man who was shot and in critical condition. Medics arrived and pronounced 21-year-old Kiyon James William Davidson dead at the scene.
According to IMPD, there was some type of disturbance involving multiple people that took place in the parking lot of the apartments leading up to the shooting.
The Marion County Coroner's Office determined Davidson's death was a homicide.
