Indianapolis - A man was shot in the head and killed late Wednesday on the city's northwest side.
Police say it happened during a home invasion at 4929 Lagora Lane which is in the Eagledale area around 34th and Georgetown Rd.
According to a statement from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, two suspects entered the home and shot the 25-year-old victim who was pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified as Gabriel Rivas. Police say he had no prior criminal history.
The suspects left the house on foot. The victim's brother discovered his body and contacted police.
