KOKOMO, Ind. — Kokomo police are investigating a rollover crash that seriously injured a man Tuesday evening.
Around 6:45 p.m. Dec. 19, Kokomo Police Department officers responded to 3400 block of North 00 East West, just north of city limits in Howard County, near North Reed Road, for a report of the crash.
A preliminary investigation indicated a 28-year-old Kokomo man was driving a Chrysler minivan north of East West/Washington Street when, for unknown reasons, he drove off the side of the road and hit a tree, causing the van to roll.
The man was pulled from the car and airlifted from the scene to an Indianapolis hospital. He was listed in critical condition Wednesday morning.
