MARION, Ind. — Police in Grant County say one person has died following an early morning accident in Marion.
Around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, Grant County Sheriff's Office (GCSO) deputies received a call about a single-car crash in the 2400 block of CR 600 East in Marion.
Officers arrived and found two people with injuries that were both transported via ambulance to a local hospital, according to GCSO.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as 34-year-old Glenn Allan Bradley from Upland, was reportedly ejected during the crash and succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The 32-year-old passenger was treated and released.
The preliminary investigation says the car left the roadway and struck a utility pole. Police believe weather was a factor in the crash.
Grant County Sheriff Del Garcia reminded Hoosiers to "please take extra time in inclement weather conditions."
