FRANKFORT, Ind. — More macaws are returning to a Frankfort park.
The Frankfort Parks Department posted the news on Facebook Monday that a family's generosity allowed them to obtain four birds.
"Our community is incredibly blessed," the department wrote. "Thanks to the generous support of Greg Summers and his family, we are honored to become the caretakers of several magnificent macaws."

The macaws are currently in quarantine, but once cleared, will be housed at the TPA Park Aviary for the public to visit.
In June, nine birds were reported stolen from the aviary.
A $1,000 reward was offered for information about the theft and police shared surveillance photos of a suspect vehicle in an attempt to locate those responsible.
The parks department said this week that cameras will be installed in the park to help deter future crime around the aviary.
