INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - If you suffer from migraines, you may soon be able to get a little more relief and it might not cost you anything.

The Food and Drug Administration just approved a new migraine drug called "Emgality."

It's made by Indianapolis-based Eli Lilly. If your doctor prescribes it for you, you'll get a shot to take once a month.

It is pricy, costing about $575 dollars once a month, or about $7,000 annually.

However, patients with commercial insurance may be able to get it for free as part of Eli Lilly's patient support program.
