Lawrence Police are looking for help locating an SUV involved in a fatal crash with a motorcycle.

Jonathan Macklin, 25, died Sunday night when his motorcycle collided with a white SUV that was turning onto Pendleton Pike in front of him. Video surveillance from the area show Macklin's motorcycle laying down just before striking the SUV, which drove west on Pendleton Pike after the crash.

Police say the SUV is likely a Chevy Tahoe, Suburban or GMC Yukon, model year 2000-2006. The driver's side tail light was knocked loose in the collision and there is likely other damage to that part of the SUV.

Macklin's family says he was a recent college graduate who had just started his first job in the Indianapolis area. He is a Chicago native.

His family and detectives urge anyone with information about the crash or the driver of the SUV to call Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS.
