LAWRENCE, Ind. (WTHR) — The Lawrence Police Department is celebrating its first-ever designated police headquarters.
The department held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new building Friday. It's located at 5150 N. Post Rd.
The public came out for the grand opening.
The new headquarters will be open for a public open house until 6 p.m. Friday.
