LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WTHR) - A motorcyclist is dead after a three-vehicle crash early Friday evening in Lafayette.
It happened on Teal Road at Summerfield Drive just after 7 p.m.
Police said a car driven by Gabrielle Lucas, 16, was turning onto Summerfield and drove into the path of a motorcyclist.
A car stopped on Summerfield was also struck in the collison.
According to police, the motorcyle driver was pronounced dead at a hospital. The victim's identity has not been released.
Police said alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have been a factor in the crash.
