INDIANAPOLIS — Gleaners Food Bank received a hefty donation to help feed hungry Hoosiers.
On Thursday, Oct. 10, Kroger donated $130,000 to the local food bank during the ribbon cutting at its downtown store on West Michigan Street.
The donation will provide more than one million meals to people in need.
The ribbon cutting marked the end of a $2 million project to upgrade the downtown store.
