KOKOMO, Ind. — UPDATE: Nancy Gibson was found safe in Kokomo, according to police.

Police are looking for help locating a Kokomo woman who left home Thursday morning and has not returned.
According to her husband, Nancy Gibson, 78, got a ride to the hairdresser Thursday around 9:30 a.m. but did not show up for her appointment. Her husband called police to report her missing at 6:45 p.m.
Police said Gibson got a ride with an unknown person from 1310 S. Cooper St., near Markland Plaza, for a hair appointment at Rudae’s at 208 West Jefferson Street.
She is described as white, 5’8” tall, weighing 130 pounds with white hair and blue eyes. Her husband did not provide a description of what she might be wearing.
Police said the criteria for a Silver Alert is not met at this time, but are asking for anyone who has information about Gibson to call 765-457-1105.
