INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis-area record store is closing one of its longtime locations.
Karma Records announced on its Facebook page Wednesday that its 3532 W. 86th St. location, near the Pyramids on the city's northwest side, will be closing after nearly 40 years.
The post says the decision was made by Karma employee/owner Jeff Wicks, who has decided to pursue other interests. The east side location on Post Road and the west side location on North High School Road will remain open.
Beginning Friday, March 22, the entire store's inventory will go on sale. According to the Facebook post, the sale will include:
- 25% off all new vinyl, CDs, turntables and speakers, including those already with sale pricing.
- 40% off "almost everything in the store."
- Fixtures are priced as marked.
