PENDLETON, Ind. — Thousands of artists travel through Indianapolis every year, but not many actually stop to help grow the Hoosier community.
Now, Jelly Roll has — twice!
The rapper-turned-country singer made his way up to the Pendleton Correctional Facility to speak with inmates for the second time this year on Thursday.
Having walked similar paths in his life, the artist shared words of encouragement, stories of resiliency and just pure positivity to the inmates.
The Indiana Department of Correction shared some photos from his visit.
