JACKSON COUNTY, Ind. — Two people are dead after a crash Wednesday in Jackson County.
The accident happened around noon in the 2200 block of East U.S. 50, authorities said.
According to a sheriff's department spokesperson, the collision involved a car and a pickup truck.
The driver of the car, 20-year-old Trawaun Litzlbauer of Indianapolis, was killed in the collision. A passenger, Stanley Baughman Jr. of Medora, also died from crash injuries, the spokesperson said.
The driver of the pickup truck was flown to a Louisville hospital for treatment.
An investigation is ongoing.
