Indy Art Center hosting free fall festival

INDIANAPOLIS — Those who are looking for some fall fun won't have to travel far this weekend.

On Saturday, the Indy Art Center is hosting a free fall festival featuring local art, artmaking and lots of food. From 12-5 p.m., guests can participate in free art activities while enjoying some food from local vendors. 

The event is being held at the Indy Arts Center, located at 820 E. 67th St., near North College Avenue on the city's north side.

More than 50 local artists and booths will have glass pumpkins, ceramics, fiber arts, candles, painting, jewelry and more.

The art center says costumes are encouraged for the family-friendly celebration.
