INDOT sets seasonal hiring events across state

INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana's Department of Transportation is looking for qualified candidates to fill seasonal positions across the state.

INDOT is looking to fill certain full- and part-time positions for work between November and March.

Pay for full-time positions starts at $21 per hour. Employees would perform general highway and traffic maintenance, snow and ice removal and other duties related to winter operations. 

On-call snowplow-only operators earn $25 per hour.

A valid commercial driver's license is required for both full-time and on-call positions.

Seasonal hiring events are set for 12 locations across Indiana on Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Interviews will take place on-site and advance registration is not required. INDOT staff will be available to answer questions and provide information about careers with the state of Indiana.
