INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Zoo made a big announcement Thursday.
The zoo introduced a new giraffe calf, who was born Wednesday to one of their giraffes, Kita.
"While the baby doesn't yet have a name, he & mom are both doing great and will remain indoors with the rest of our herd this winter," the zoo wrote on Facebook.
The male calf is already 6 feet tall!
"Join us in congratulating mom Kita, dad Majani and our African Plains team on our newest addition," the zoo wrote.
