For those who need help bridging the digital divide, Comcast is partnering with the The Indianapolis Public Library to offer free computer training classes now through the end of the year.

According to national statistics, some lower income families often don't have access to computers. To combat that trend in Marion County, Comcast is giving $10,000 to local libraries to help get people online and navigate the internet confidently.

"Those individuals most hurt by the digital divide are those who can least afford to fall behind anymore in the academic process, in the real world, realization process of employment opportunities, preparation and education," said Vernon Williams, Indiana Black Expo.

The classes will be available at the Central Library in downtown Indianapolis, the Glendale branch on Keystone Ave. And the E. 38th St. Branch.
