INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — An Indianapolis man has been found guilty of murdering two women last September and setting their bodies on fire.
The verdict against Tywan James comes after a three-day long jury trial.
The Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry hopes it will bring comfort to the familiar of Martina Webb and Alijah Igartua, knowing the person responsible for their senseless murders is being held accountable.
The women from Gary were in Indianapolis visiting a friend when they were shot and killed-- and then left in a burning car.
James is due back in court next month for sentencing.
