INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Indians will be able to help even more organizations across central Indiana after their annual "Bourbon at the Ballpark."
At least 150 people visited Victory Field on Sunday to sample different bourbons by Maker's Mark.
The community outreach director for the Indianapolis Indians charities told 13News that events like "Bourbon at the Ballpark" have helped the Indians donate $250,000 in grants every year to local charities and organizations focused on families, youth, education and neighborhoods.
According to the Indianapolis Indians, 19 community partners benefitted from donations from fundraising events. The Indians said they are now in the process of picking partners for their 2024 community outreach program.
