INDIANAPOLIS — The Damien Center, Indiana's oldest and largest AIDS service provider, will host its 37th annual black-tie fundraising event this fall.
The event, called Grande Masquerade: Hollywood, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19 at the JW Marriott, located at 10 S. West St. in Indianapolis. The VIP reception will be at 6 p.m. with the dinner and main event at 7:30 p.m.
Attendees will be treated to a night filled with dinner, dancing and live entertainment featuring a drag performance, the Indianapolis Ballet and more.
The event will also include costumes, a silent auction and stories about how the Damien Center has impacted community members.
According to a news release, the Grande Masquerade has become one of the city’s "premier philanthropic galas," drawing more than 900 attendees every year.
Tickets are $175 for general admission and $275 for VIP reception. VIP reception tickets include entertainment, complimentary cocktails and early access to the silent auction. If you are coming with a group, you can purchase a table for 10 at general admission for $1,750 or VIP for $2,750. Tickets are available for purchase online here.
Event officials said all of the money raised at the event will directly support HIV prevention and care.
