Indianapolis Animal Care and Control is getting a new director.
Katie Trennepohl, who had been serving as director of the Humane Society for Hamilton County is taking the job. Trennepohl has worked with Hamilton County for about seven years and previously worked at IACC.
Indianapolis has dealt with high turnover in the director position for years. In May 2015, Sgt. Randy Dodd was appointed interim director after Dennis Papenmeier resigned after just six months on the job.
