INDIANA, USA — Scott County authorities are investigating after two young students encountered “presumed” meth on a classroom floor.
The incident reportedly happened on Nov. 8 at Lexington Elementary School.
Scott County District 2 Superintendent Marc Slaton said the students were taken to the hospital as a precaution and released the same day.
“A safe learning environment is a top priority, and we will continue to work with our local law enforcement partners to seek answers to the questions that still remain,” he said.
K-9 units searched the school and found no other drugs.
No other information, including how the meth may have gotten inside the school, has been released.
