FULTON COUNTY, Ind. (WTHR) - There were painful flashbacks Thursday morning for one parent at the same bus stop in Fulton County where three children were killed last year.
Kara Spencer says she heard the bus honking and looked up to see a car speeding past the stopped bus.
She says if it wasn't for the new bus safety law requiring curbside pickup, there could have been another tragedy Thursday.
She said she wants to remind all drivers to always stop for school buses when their lights are on and stop arm extended.
Video provided by the Fulton County prosecutor shows new instances of people not stopping for school buses stopped with lights flashing and stop arms extended.
Alyssa Shepherd, the driver in the crash that killed Alivia, Mason and Xzavier last October, will be sentenced next month.
