AVON, Ind. (WTHR) – Sunday marks a somber milestone for the family of Najah Ferrell.
They've now gone one year without knowing what happened to her.
But police say they aren't giving up their search.
The 30-year-old mother disappeared one year ago on March 15.
A few weeks later, police found her car on the northwest side and several of her belongings scattered along I-65.
Then about a month later, police found some of her remains in a lake in Crown Point.
Avon police say they're working closely with state police and the FBI to find out what happened.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS. You can remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward if your tip leads to an arrest.
