NEWPORT, Ky (WTHR) — If you're looking for an escape from the cold, Newport Aquarium is giving families and their little ones some relief.
Starting Jan. 6 through March 1, the aquarium is offering free entry for one child between the ages of 2 and 12 with each full-priced adult ticket.
The free entry is part of the aquariums "Winter Family Days."
"Activities during Winter Family Days include visiting with the new Bayou Babies, two dozen baby American alligators who now call Gator Alley home, alongside Snowball and Snowflake, Newport Aquarium’s rare white alligators," the release reads.
The aquarium, which is located just south of Cincinnati across the Ohio River, is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily and has more than a dozen exhibits.
General admission for an adult (13+) is $25.99.
