Missing South Bend woman found murdered in Minnesota; Indiana man sought

COOK, Minn. (WTHR) - Police are looking for an Indiana man who is suspected in the murder of a South Bend woman who was found murdered in Minnesota.

According to KBJR-TV in Duluth, the remains of 28-year-old Christina Woods were found in a shallow grave in northern Minnesota on Monday. An autopsy led investigators to believe she died of homicidal violence.

Woods was reported missing from the South Bend area in early June.

Police told KBJR Woods' remains were found on property belonging to relatives of 40-year-old Daniel Lynn, who is also from South Bend.

Lynn is described as a white male, 5'10", 210 pounds, with a bald head and a mustache and goatee. He has several tattoos on his neck.

Police say Lynn has been seen in Duluth and areas north of the Minnesota city this week, but it is believed he may have returned to Indiana.
